You have to pledge for a reward you want. You will not be charged until the campaign ends. 2. To pledge for a reward click the green “Back this project” button on the right side of the project page. 3. Select the rewards you want in return for your pledge. Select the country you want it shipped to and complete the pledge. 4. Once the campaign has ended we will send you a survey for you to fill out the color options, personalized engravings and any add-on items. 5. Does the Floatti suitcase comply with TSA, FAA & IATA requirements?
Both the Floatti Carry-on and Floatti Check-in are designed based on the requirements of the TSA, FAA and IATA in size, type and size of battery, and wireless communication standards. Dimension : The Floatti carry-on is compatible with the check-in size limit of the IATA and major airlines flying domestically and internationally. Battery: The Floatti suitcase has a small built-in 900mAh battery to support the built-in scale and the smart handle, while the detachable laptop charger uses a 88.8wh battery core, both of which are well within the requirements of the IATA and FAA. If by any chance your luggage is required to be checked-in by the airline, the detachable charger can also be taken out and carried onboard with you. Wireless Communication: Floatti suitcase and trackers use Bluetooth 4.0 to communicate with your phone just like an external speaker. This technology complys with TSA, FAA and IATA regulations. Do I need to recharge Floatti?
We designed the Floatti to be very energy efficient so that we only need a very small built-in battery, which you can charge via a USB cable in the front pocket (meaning you can also recharge it with the detachable charger). The battery life would depends on how often you use the scale, the smart handle and the tracking features. Estimation base on a user that travels 1-2 days every week, would have to recharge their Floatti every 6 weeks. It takes less than three hours to fully recharged your Floatti. What are my options for personalized engravings?
Floatti will become your trustworthy travel buddy. Therefore, we offer personal engraving, whether for yourself or as a gift to someone you care on the handle and hang tag. For the handle, you can engrave two lines containing 15 letters each, and for the hang tag, up to 3 letters. These engravings are offered in metallic gold, metallic silver or debossing (no color). What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
